Since 3 March 2014, the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance has been modernized and revised significantly. The Memorandum has been abolished and only the Articles remain as the only constitution of a HK company. ย For HK companies which were incorporated before, they can still enjoy the benefits of the relaxation under the new HK Companies Ordinance if their Articles are amended accordingly.
